These terms govern the purchase of courses offered by Dan Gittik, a self-employed professional (trabajador autónomo) based in Barcelona, Spain.

What is offered

Live, instructor-led online courses (cohort-based), delivered through the Maven platform (maven.com). Each course's content, schedule, format, and price are described on its Maven course page at the time of enrollment.

Enrollment and payment

  • Enrollment takes place on Maven and is subject to Maven's Terms of Service in addition to these terms. Where the two conflict regarding the platform, payments, or refunds, Maven's terms prevail.
  • Prices are shown at checkout, in USD unless stated otherwise. Payments are processed by Stripe; applicable VAT on EU consumer purchases is collected and remitted through the platform.
  • You will receive a payment receipt by email from the payment processor.

Delivery

Course delivery consists of the live sessions, recordings, materials, and community access described on the course page, accessible through your Maven account. Live sessions take place at the scheduled times (time zone stated on the course page); recordings are provided where indicated. I may adjust the schedule or individual session content for quality or availability reasons, keeping the course's overall scope.

Refunds

Refunds follow Maven's refund policy and satisfaction guarantee as published on the course page and in Maven's help center at the time of your enrollment, including its deadlines. To request a refund, use Maven's refund process or write to dan.gittik@gmail.com. Where Maven approves a refund, it is returned to your original payment method.

Intellectual property

Course materials are for your personal use as an enrolled student. You may not redistribute, resell, or publicly share course materials or session recordings without written permission. You keep full ownership of anything you build during the course.

Acceptable conduct

Live sessions and course communities are shared spaces: abusive, harassing, or disruptive behavior may result in removal from the course, with any refund handled under the refund policy above.

Liability

Courses are provided with professional care, but no specific outcome (employment, certification value, business results) is guaranteed. To the extent permitted by law, liability is limited to the amount you paid for the course. Nothing in these terms limits rights that consumer law grants you and that cannot be waived.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer in the EU, you also benefit from the mandatory consumer-protection provisions of your country of residence, and disputes may be brought before the courts of your domicile. The EU online dispute resolution platform is available at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

Changes

Changes to these terms will be posted on this page with an updated date and apply to enrollments made after that date.
